Interesting concept you have here. It really throws up some questions about her relationship with her friends. Also, the fact that some people reckon that Trigon was responsible for Robin's hallucinations of Slade gives this another layer. And of course, the sequencing is perfect, the colours are accurate, and the images pack a hefty emotional punch. Thank you for sharing this.
I see you're gone for some sort of pilgrimage in quest of making Swf files with pretty music into them! Isn't that the first time you happen to make so?
Either way, I like the lighting effect, and the idea ^^ This is a nice play with the shades and the colors, both on Raven and on the background. I even see you tried to animate the rebound of the water drops on her hoodie. In any cases the style does fit with Teen Titans original style, which is something you seem to enjoy to draw a lot On the whole that's a good job, animating the light can bring a nice effect but it's actually not a thing as easy as it may sound to achieve, but I think you did a pretty good job here being honest. This is looping on my screen for a fair amount of times now, and the music fits well too! I think it is a strong picture, but I feel kinda bad for Raven though ;n; I wish I could take her in my arms if I could, even though she would likely throw me away, lol.
However Raven should know that the fact her friends aren't here physically doesn't mean that they don't think about her or aren't willing to help her even though it's only through support. Sure, having friends close to you in a physical way may make you feel that support a bit more but, if something bothers Raven inside of her she might want to try to tell her friends in a way or another to at least let it out. That's what friends are meant for, and you can feel free to tell them that you ain't feeling really fine when this occurs. The thing is they cannot guess every time when one is not going well, they don't necessarly know how to properly help their loved ones either even though they're actually dying to do so inside of them, but you can be sure they'll be here if they ever feel their friend is feeling bad for any reason, and for listening to her. Being listened is actually one of the things that humans need the most, if not THE thing. No matter what is separating true friends from one another, distance, time or whatever, all of this doesn't matter that much because in the end, what is important in the heart stays there forever.
Wow, I just said something so cool. Do you think I'm cool, kid? What? "Cheesy", you said? F*ck you.
I hope you're doing alright Jen. If not... well, hang in there, everything will come right sound or late. Might sound like a lame advice but that's actually true. And rough times, as tough as they can be, are also here to make you enjoy even more all the sweeter moments that occur beside them.
